Dr. Muthoni Ntonjira, who holds an MBA in Healthcare Management, a Master of Medicine in Anaesthesiology/Critical care, a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery and a PhD fellow in Healthcare Management is currently the Managing Director & Health Systems District Leader for Philips East Africa based in Nairobi, Kenya. She is responsible for the overall Philips operations and the business growth agenda in Eastern Africa. Throughout her career, she has gained vast experience working across various healthcare systems and has played an active role in training healthcare personnel. In addition, she has held senior leadership positions in health care organisations for over a decade, where she has leveraged her knowledge and expertise to promote digital health and drive innovation in the industry. She collaborates with various stakeholders in the health care industry with the aim of promoting access to quality and affordable health care. Dr. Muthoni is also a member of the Kenya Society of Anaesthesiologists (KSA) and the Critical Care Society of Kenya (CCSK).
