Mbakulo Joanna is the Movement for Community-Led Development Uganda Country Coordinator. In this role, she facilitates the overall strategic direction of MCLD-Uganda, and coordinates participation by the national membership of 100+ members Community-Based Organizations spread throughout the country. She is also the Executive Secretary to MCLD-Uganda’s Steering Committee.  As an MCLD coordinator, Joanna works closely with MCLD members to ensure continuous adoption of CLD practices and approaches. Joanna loves to learn and share knowledge. Her favorite part of coordinating MCLD-Uganda is the connection with members who are so passionate about transforming their communities with the resources that they have. Her focus is on putting our collective resources to greater use by serving with intention. She is based in Kampala, Uganda.
