Ruth is a seasoned, senior leader in public health with 20 years of experience in initiating and cementing strategic partnerships with non-profit organizations, multilateral partners (including USAID, WHO, and UNICEF), and national and regional governments. She has strong advocacy skills and has been a speaker in many high-profile events, including the World Health Assembly, Africa Health Agenda International Conference, Women Deliver, and UN high-level meetings on UHC.
Ruth has worked in various public and private sector roles, and her accumulated knowledge and networks have driven innovative approaches, advocacy initiatives, and strategic engagements. In her previous role, Ruth provided overall leadership on country strategy, regional and global advocacy, and partner engagements.
Ruth is a doctoral candidate in Health Communications at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, and she holds a Master’s of Science in Health Systems Management. She is also an M&E Fellow.
