Shalom Mwape is the FP2030 Youth Focal Point for Zambia and a program officer at Copper Rose Zambia. She is responsible for implementation of programs aimed at advocating for and promoting the sexual and reproductive health and rights of adolescents and young people; increasing their knowledge and access to SRH services; advocating for increased financing and availability of family planning, HIV prevention and other reproductive health commodities.in addition to this , Shalom takes lead in  advocacy towards implementation and achievement of country family planning commitments in Zambia; improving quality, availability, and access to family planning commodities to address the unmet needs within her country and the region.

Shalom is a Social Worker by profession with accolades from the University of Zambia. She is using her acquired skills and passion as a driving force to make a positive impact in promoting sexual and reproductive health and rights and fostering social change that will create an enabling environment for adolescents and young people to thrive.
